Submit a collection
Submission help

The submission form is divided into three sections to capture collection details, holding location and contact information. Fields marked with * are required and must be completed otherwise the submission will not succeed. Clicking on 'Reset' at any stage will clear the form of all entered data. Once you have filled in all the relevant fields, click on the 'Submit' button to transmit your data.

You may find it useful to print out this help page before beginning to enter any collection details.

 
 Collection Details
 
Collection title: Enter the collection title, capitalizing as appropriate.
 
Description*: Enter a brief description of the collection itself, up to 250 words.
 
Keywords/phrases*: Except for proper nouns, please  use lower case and separate each keyword/phrase with a semicolon.
 
Originator: Person(s) or corporate body(ies) who created items in the collection.
 
Date coverage The temporal coverage of items in the collection
 
Collection strengths: Give an indication of the particular strength(s) of the collection.
 
Is collection indexed/catalogued*: Select one of the options.
 
Size of collection: Give an indication of the number of items in the collection.
 
Report nos: Please enter report series identifiers/ranges.
 
Format of documents: You may include storage and access formats. Please select as many options as necessary. If you choose 'Other', please explicitly type in additional information in the text box provided.
 
Access control*: Please indicate whether access is free or charged and whether items are restricted or non-restricted.
 
Notes: Please add any additional information about the collection which you feel may be useful.
 
 Collection location
 
Holding body*: Please enter the name of the library/organisation holding this collection
 
Address: The postal address for the physical location of a physical collection.
 
Postcode: The postcode for the physical location of a physical collection
 
Collection URL: The online location of a digital collection
 
See also: The identifier of a resource that provides further information about this location (typically the URL for an organisational home page).
