Developing the UK National Reports Catalogue

The original MAGiC project aimed to enhance awareness, access and use of key collections of technical reports for the benefit of the UK engineering community. An important outcome of the project was METReS - the demonstration service which provides a window into the prototype National Reports Catalogue (NRC).

Now, the MAGiC 2 project is taking the work forward through:

• A technical blueprint for a production service
• Enabling participation
• A plan for sustainability

Important to the successful creation of the National Reports Catalogue is the formation of a core community of participants, so, if your organisation:

• Holds a technical reports collection - please tell us about it by filling in our report holdings questionnaire
• Produces technical reports - please let us know by filling in our report producers questionnaire
